Ortec Finance is an independent consulting firm that builds on over 40 years of experience advising pension funds worldwide. The company is based in Rotterdam and operates through seven offices in Europe, North America, and Australia. In 2008 Ortec Finance opened an office in Pfäffikon SZ to serve the Swiss market. We offer consulting services for pension funds and institutional investors. In particular, we offer ALM-studies, investment consulting, risk management as well as performance and climate analysis. In the past years, Ortec Finance has established a leading position in climate analysis by systematically incorporating climate risks into the discussion on strategic asset allocations. Part of our DNA is the detailed and granular modeling of assets based on our sophisticated and forward-looking scenario approach. Our proprietary model GLASS consistently reflects both sides of the balance sheet in the same factor model. GLASS and our performance analysis tool, PEARL, can also be acquired in license form.
